The Baker's Dozen
12th Precinct Neighborhood Coalition Community Open House

The University Commons and the 12th Precinct Neighborhood Coalition Home Tour, The Baker's Dozen, features beautiful homes in 13 communities: Bagely, Blackstone, Detroit Golf Club, Fitzgereld, Greenacres, Greenwitch Park, Martin park, Oak Grove, Palmer Woods, Pilgrim Village, Sherwood Forest, University District and Winship Communities. Registration is 1:30-2:00 at Windmill Market, on the corner of Livernois and The Lodge Expressway. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here or at Windmill Market on the day of the event. Busses will leave Windmill Market at 2:00 for a tour of the neighborhood and homes for sale. Afterglow from 6:00-8:00 at Baker's Keyboard Lounge, 20510 Livernois, to get to know residents and get a real feel for the community. Corktown Historical Society Home and Garden Tour

As Detroit's oldest neighborhood, Corktown is proud to host its annual Home and Garden Tour. The tour will feature seven houses, a loft in the Grinnell Building and an apartment over Mercury Bar. At homes throughout the tour, Corktown historians will display photos and stories of what the neighborhood was like in its infancy.

The Villages Real Estate Tour
Detroit's Waterfront Home Tour

From two bedroom apartments for rent to 10 bedroom mansions for sale, there's something for everyone at The Villages Real Estate Home Tour. The afternoon will offer two guided bus tours ($5 per person) to take potential home owners through the community's six neighborhoods: Indian Village, West Village, Gold Coast, Joseph Berry Sub and East Village. Participants can expect to tour homes, condos and rental properties and have an opportunity to speak with mortgage and real estate professionals to answer questions about purchasing.
